To The Family,
The sting of death is indeed painful and unfortunately all of us have been affected by it. As a volunteer minister, I read the obituaries often and my goal is to put forth the effort to comfort the surviving family members. The words of the Lord Jesus gives humankind an ASSURED HOPE that our deceased loved ones will be brought back to life. He said, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. (John5:28,29) When Mr. Enoch G. Shelton is awakened from the sleep of death he will not be sick because sickness and death itself will have been swallowed up forever. (John11:11-14,43,44; Isaiah 33:24) I hope that the aforementioned scriptures bring you genuine comfort at this most difficult time. Please accept my deepest thoughts of sympathy in the passing of your loved one.
Mr. Terry, a volunteer minister
