Celebrating the life of Bernice Ray Barfield
Thank you for signing Bernice Ray Barfield's Guestbook
To the family,
My condolences to the loss of your love one. I know it is hard to deal with this grief-stricken pain. But God, whose name is Jehovah, stated in his word the Bible that “death will be no more”. (Psalms 83:18, 1 Timothy 3:16, Revelation 21:4). Also, his son, Jesus Christ, assured us at John 5:28,29: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment”. So, rest assured, you will be able to see your love one again.
I’ve attached a link to one of our tracts from our website, jw.org. The tract asks this question, “Can the Dead Really Live Again?” It has wonderful scriptural encouragement that will help from God’s word.
Again, my sincerest condolences,

To The Family,
I have not met the family personally, however, I was sorry to read that Mr. Bernice Ray Barfield had passed, One thing that I have learned as life goes on is how strong and sure God's love is, always ready to comfort and heal. With deepest sympathy and a prayer that His love will be with you in a special way. May God comfort you at this time of sorrow and bless you through the days ahead. May the tender mercy that God has always shown be with you now, so that you will know that you are not alone and may others help in some small way to bring you strength, comfort, and courage each day. Soon God will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces. (Isaiah 25:8)

When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. So treasure that memory. I am truly sorry about the loss of Mr Barfield. Others may not know the extent of your emotional pain, but God does, because he cares for you.
(1 Peter 5:7) Therefore, you can trust him to heal your broken hearts. Also, you can find comfort in his promise of an earthly resurrection. (Psalm 37:29; John 5:28, 29)

I have fond memories of (my Uncle) Bernice. He was 11 when I was born. He was such a tease to us young nieces & nephews. He was called home exactly 6 months after my husband, Steve. (Granny & Papa Barfield have all their children with them now). I would like to go down there for the Service but the snow here in VA & my health issues won't let me. Peace & comfort to all who are grieving. Remember "Joy comes in the morning." Jo Ann
