It was with a great sense of sadness hearing of Sis Gardner’s death. I wanted to let the family know that you have my greatest sympathy, and that my heart is truly saddened. I know her passing will not only leave a void in my life but a void in the lives and hearts of all who knew her. Sickness will not be with us forever. The prophet Isaiah pointed to a time when “no one will say I am sick.” (Isaiah 33:24) May Jehovah God give you the strength to endure. Sis. Gardner, was truly a friend of mine. I will dearly miss our telephone conversations and my visits with her. Also, her encouraging words. One thing she always talked about during her sickness was when she can get back out and knock on doors and talk to people about Jehovah God's Kingdom, and all of the blessings that it will bring. Now, she sleeps and waits for Jehovah to wake her up in the paradise earth. She will never get sick, grow old, and die. I look forward to the time when I can be with my friend again. Then we will laugh again forever.
